SOLD OUT: Where We’ve Been, Where We’re Going: Andru Volisnky on the State of School Funding in NH

Andru Volinsky, author of The Last Bake Sale: The Fight for Fair School Funding, will speak about his recent book, which focuses on the history and current state of educational funding inequities in NH. He will explain the backdrop for writing his book and, importantly, he will advise attendees on what tangible steps can be taken to better our outcomes in NH schooling. Dover School Board Member Micalea Demeter will join Andru for a Q&A after Andru’s reading and talk. Andru will sign books at the end of the event.

About Andry Volinsky
Andru was lead counsel to the Claremont plaintiffs for more than 20 years. He is now co-counsel in another pending school funding case, Rand v. the State of NH. After serving as Executive Councilor for District Two for four years, he unsuccessfully ran for governor. Andru has taught at the University of New Hampshire’s Carsey School for Public Policy and Law School and at Franklin Pierce University. He and his wife live in East Concord. They have three adult children and three grandchildren.
